About Sola Gratia

The mission of Sola Gratia is:

To support good causes and build community through the support of good music. 

We began the Sola Gratia Music Series in October of 2009 in the village of Lake Anne, Michigan with the simple goal of bringing music and people together for good.  Over the past two years, the series brought some of Michigan’s best musicians to Lake Ann and has blessed all who have participated in the events; musicians and concert-goers alike.  Through the Sola Gratia series, we strive to support the artist and the cause together.  In addition to this goal, we desire to create a great experience for all who come — children and adults, people of all ages, stages, perspectives and backgrounds, coming together for music, community, and good.

We have hosted artists such as Rachael Davis, Gifts or Creatures, Jen Sygit & Sam Corbin, Claudia Schmidt, Joshua Davis, Samantha Crawford, Sari Brown, and Seth Bernard & May Erlewine. The stripped down nature of our concerts provides a unique chance for the audience to truly connect with the musicians- something that benefits both musician and concert-goer.
